Phil Bredesen: President in 2008

With the 2008 presidential race off to too early of a start, I suppose it is necessary to ahead and start a blog for the democrat who actually has not only the best chance of winning, but is the best candidate available. Phil Bredesen is a southern governor born in rural Shortsville, NY. He has a physics degree from Harvard, and was also able to start one of the nation's most profitable health care management companies, HealthAmerica Corp., in 1975, after studying relentlessly in Nashville's then shabby public library (one of the reasons he constructed of the nation's premier public library's in downtown Nashville while mayor). As mayor of Nashville he also brought the Titans to town. Who doesn't of football? I guarantee people in Ohio love football. As governor Bredesen is currently faced with what may be the most pressing economic issue ever to face Tennessee; fixing TennCare (TN's health care system that the previous republican governor, Don Sunquist sent down the crapper along with a lot of taxpayers' money). After Phil fixes TennCare he will have covered a huge base many americans don't Democrats can cover; Medicare. For some reason republicans have conered the political market on buisness savvy. Bredesen is the perfect response. There's a lot more I could say about the man, but I am tired of typing as I am sure you are tired of reading. If you want to know more look him up on Wikepedia.
Here's a final fact to consider: when Phil Bredesen won the 2002 gubernatorial race, he barely won with 51% of the vote. In 2006 he got almost 70% of the vote and won all 95 counties! I think that was the first time that had ever happened. Bottom line: In 2008 it's all about winning, and PHIL BREDESEN IS A WINNER!
